What’s causing my pain in my neck?

  • Ok I’ll admit – I travel a lot and I also am a solitaire addict when I’m in public and choosing to entertain myself with my device rather than you know, do something healthy for my mind body and spirit – like…….meditate…feldenkrais….yoga…dance. Oh yah, I do also have a lot of resourceful activities I can share and refer that I do. But let’s get back to this PAIN IN THE NECK first…

Like many others, it took me a long time before I realized the connection between my pain in my neck and my usage of my device – which has been either an iPhone or iPad. To be honest, I am concerned what this will do to children as they continue to grow and develop, and also ageing necks with less elasticity and osteoporosis developing.

I’ve since realized I don’t want to live with this chronic pain as well as the idea that the opening at my cranial base is compromised in any way, especially when there are gentle techniques to provide relief as well as strategies to prevent them. Each one of us has different causes and results and I do encourage movement and gentle approach to yourself in all ways, judgement especially doesn’t help. What does help is some gentle spinal awakenings first thing in the morning over picking up your devices for example and this can take as little as 5 minutes and done regularly can assist you in making improvements.

I have some gentle techniques to adjust your Atlas and Occiput and whole body – in fact the foundation of what Biodynamic Craniosacral Balancing is based on is mobility and inherent health within. Contact me now for a consult or session…
